Do you have a movement/lift/skill that despite being in your wheelhouse, you can't stand? Typically, we don't like the things we have problems with (like my ongoing love/hate for chest to bar pull ups, and my downright disdain for rope climbs). However, I have found myself in the unusual position of being particularly good on deadlifts despite hating having to bend over and pick the shit up. So you can imagine how happy I was when our programmers realized "You know what, we haven't programmed deadlifts in a while".
Cut to me deadlifting Wednesday, Sunday and this morning.
Today went as follows:
WOD
5 min AMRAP
5 Deadlifts (275, 185)
10 Clap Push-ups
4 min Rest
7 min AMRAP
7 Deadlifts (225, 135)
14 OH Walking Lunges (45, 25)
4 min Rest
9 min AMRAP
9 Clap Push-ups
18 OH Walking Lunges (45, 25)
36 Double Unders
This little ditty worked great to tax my endurance (which is my focus right now). By the time the last AMRAP came along I barely managed to get through 2 rounds.
1-
5rounds 5 reps
2- 3 round 3 reps
3- 2 round 21 reps
All RX.
Wall ball shots. Every single one of my pukies has been a WBS day. Especially if there's running just after then. Hurtz.

And, to be clear, I don't think I'm bad at them. I can rattle off a good number before I have to stop. I try to love them but I can't.
